We started school a little over 2 weeks ago and of course, we were not even fully into the first week when several of my children came home with fevers, at least one headache and what looked like the beginning of some general generic back-to-school gunk! Last year when this happened within the first few days of school like clockwork, when I went to hit my medicine cabinet in search of children’s pain and fever relief, there was none. So this year I was determined to be positively prepared for back-to-school season, not just with clothes, folders and pencils, but by making sure I had the right pain relief on hand. And boy am I am glad I did.
Maybe this isn’t something you have thought about and so I am here to help! Because today I would like to share a tutorial for a simple and highly useful medicine caddy that I pulled together to make sure that when those fevers, aches and pains hit for any member of my family, I am ready.
First I picked up a latchable plastic tote at my local neighborhood Target. I figured this would be easier for storing and keeping little hands out.
While still at Target I made a stop at the pain relief aisle and picked up the items I needed to get positively prepared with the right pain relief for myself and my family at Target; Extra Strength TYLENOL®, TYLENOL® 8 HR Muscle Aches & Pain and Children’s TYLENOL®.
I choose TYLENOL® products for my family because it is the #1 doctor recommended brand of pain reliever and is trusted relief that I know I can count on. This year my oldest daughter and I have signed up for a few MMA classes. She is set to become the next champion, I on the other hand, am just planning on trying to stay alive. Thus making it absolutely necessary that my cabinet ALWAYS be stocked with TYLENOL® 8 HR Muscle Aches & Pain. It will help me to take control of my muscle pain and take back the day. Because you know I am going to need it.

Now to finish off your back to school caddy I have included this handy dandy little printable. Late at night always seems to be when those fevers, aches and pains hit and so having dosing directions on the ready is necessary, at least for my family. The concept for the printable is pretty easy, just cut out the back instructions and affix it to this printable and stash it away in your medicine caddy. This helps cut down on the boxes and papers you have to store.

To finish your medicine caddy, add in your pain and fever relievers. I included in a dosing cup as well. All of my family members are now at the stage where everyone can drink from a cup or swallow pills, but for infants remember to add in a medicine dropper.
Close the lid and store away. I put my medicine caddy in my kitchen inside a high cabinet.
