I am super excited for Fall this year! I love the colors, the decor, and the yummy food. Pumpkin especially! In total transparency, I haven’t started decorating yet, but I do have one new Fall decor item that is making me super happy! Sometimes after a super long and stressful day, I like to watch some type of movie, series, or documentary and since I am not very good at sitting still, I often try to craft or do something while watching to help calm my brain and hands. This latest project turned out super cute!
This was inspired by the Valentine’s Day pillow I made a few years ago. This time with pumpkins!
Making it is super easy. You just need a pillow (or you could make one), some fall-colored material and a contrasting material to put on the stalk/top, a good pair of scissors, and some fabric glue. I also made you up a little pattern you could use. Or you could free-hand it! Click here to print the pattern.
To make it cut out various pumpkin shapes from the fabric and apply with the fabric glue. Making the stalk pieces is easy! You just need to cut 4 to 5 skinny long portions about six inches long and tie the strips in the middle with one of the strips. Then glue it onto the pillow.
Isn’t this easy? Jen’s Guy doesn’t think we need more pillows…. but I say there should be no limit on pillows! Pillows make the world a happy place.
Thanks for stopping in and happy Fall!
Love,
Jen
