In honor of the Fourth of July holiday here in the States last week, we were extremely laid-back with our challenge topic and offered up some summertime free reign with our Essence of Summer Challenge. We called upon you to show us your summertime moments and boy, did you deliver! Our call to action was met with shots of watermelon juice dripping off of adorable little chins, rodeo fun, firefly catching, festive holiday fun, kiddos in pools and more!

The jar of Nutella and spoon you keep hidden in a high cupboard for after the little ones are asleep and your husband steps out, the most recent issue of The National Inquirer firmly tucked under the couch cushions that you’re saving for some sleazy reading and relaxing moments while the kids are at their playgroup, AND that bottle of wine that’s become your constant companion while your mother in law visits. Or maybe you prefer some time in the hammock in your backyard and peaceful reading of a classic novel- we’re looking for whatever floats your boat and keeps you functioning, happy, and {relatively} sane as a mommy!
