My kids are addicted to lemonade in all its varieties. They especially are fond of the strawberry and raspberry variations. I decided that since they loved lemonade so much, I would try and create a baked culinary concoction with it. What I came up with was so good that it needed to be shared with all of you!
This simple recipe would be perfect for any summer celebrations or backyard BBQs, and it can be made in little to no time with just a few ingredients.
Here is what you need to make it. You won’t believe how easy it is!
1 box of strawberry cake mix. Any kind will work. Follow the directions and make it exactly as the directions call for.
1 box of instant lemon pudding mix. Follow the directions and make it exactly as the directions call for.
1 can or tub of cool whipped topping
Sliced fresh strawberries and blueberries
Here is how to make it!
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and oil a cake pan. This can be cupcakes or a double-layered cake if you desire.
Make the cake mix according to the directions on the box. Wait to pour it into the cake pan until you have made the pudding.
Make the lemon pudding mix according to the directions on the box.
Pour the pudding into the cake mix and stir well.
Add the mixture to the cake pan and cook for 25 to 28 minutes.
Let the cake cool and top with whipped topping and fresh berries. It’s time to enjoy the “fruit” of your labor!
