A few months ago, a nice representative from Vegamour reached out to ask if I would like to review their hair care products. I had never heard of Vegamour, so I looked into their products.
On their website I read their mission statement, “Vegamour is a holistic approach to hair wellness that incorporates clinically tested plant-based ingredients that work in tandem to promote healthy, beautiful hair naturally, without the use of harmful chemicals or short-term ‘fixes’ that can lead to long-term problems. We study the power of nature through the lens of science to bring you the ultimate in total hair wellness & beauty for a lifetime of happiness.”
Since I was new to their product line, the representative asked what my current goal was for healthier hair. I said hydration was the most important thing I was looking for. Based on that goal, she recommended the HYDR-8 Collection, and I excitedly waited for my package to arrive!
My 16-year-old daughter Rebekah and I tested Vegamour together. I am using pictures of her hair as my example to share our review. Below is a picture of her hair before we started using the Vegamour products. For a little history, last summer Bekah added a lot of blonde highlights to her hair, but as the year progressed she realized it was a lot of work to maintain. So she added some low lights to bring it back more closely to her natural hair color. The result was that all of that hair dyeing had left her locks pretty dry.
She followed the directions as detailed for each product we received. It’s interesting that until we took pictures of her hair and looked at the difference between the before and after pictures, we did not realize what a huge impact the products had made on her hair. It is pretty incredible! I had the same results in my hair as well.
The picture of her hair as seen below was taken exactly one month after starting the products. As a note, for this picture, other than using the products no other change had occurred except that she had put in heat-less curls overnight to get a little wave in her hair.
Pretty impressive, right?!
I also noticed a very marked difference in the softness and hydration of my hair. This week when I went to get my hair cut, my stylist said my hair felt super soft and that my curls looked super healthy. Guys, that is a HUGE feat for naturally curly hair!!
Vegamour has quite a few collections depending on what your hair goals are. Next, I want to try the GRO and eyebrow serum line. Overall, I am pretty excited about all that Vegamour has to offer and wanted to share my experience with all of you.
