Guys, my blog has broken 3 times in the last 2 weeks! It has been super frustrating, but I think it is fixed now. Sorry if you visited and got the 404 error. That’s always a super nice message for a blog….
So how about we celebrate my blog being fixed (fingers crossed) with a new recipe?! A recipe that is so deliciously easy, like hardly any work at all, one that when people eat it they will think you toiled for hours on this dish. Nope, you guys know me. That is not my style.
Let’s start with a little picture first of this awesomeness, just to get you excited about this recipe! Can you guess the filling? Scroll below for the answer.
It’s apple! Here is what you need to make this recipe:
Vanilla cake mix
Can of apple filling
Cool whip if desired
And that is it!
It’s like a little mini cupcake pie! What is not to love about that I say.
Directions:
Prepare vanilla cake mix. Place cupcake wrappers in your muffin/cupcake tin and fill the cupcake holder about halfway with vanilla cake batter. Drop in one to two teaspoons of apple pie filling. Spoon in additional vanilla cake mix on top of the apple pie filling. Bake at 350 for about 20 minutes. You want them to be a nice golden brown.
Serve with whipped topping. This is optional, but really, who wouldn’t want that extra creamy goodness on top?!
