A Giveaway & A New Book: The Fire Keeper

Almost exactly one year ago I read the book Storm Runner by J.C. Cervantes and was totally hooked! My middle grade reader was too. We loved it and have been anxiously awaiting the release of the next installment in the series. Today I am thrilled to be able to share with you that the second book is now hitting a book seller near you! Happy day!

Here is a little overview of the first book: It’s a contemporary adventure based on Maya mythology that focuses on a lonely boy in New Mexico who has a physical disability that makes middle school feel even more like everyone is watching him. But as he soon learns, his physical differences are merely the first clue to a family history that connects him to the Maya gods—and puts him in mortal danger. Exciting right?!

Zane Obispo’s new life on a beautiful secluded tropical island, complete with his family and closest friends, should be perfect.
