My family has some impressive skills in the salsa making arena. If that isn’t a real arena, it really should be! It’s time for a new show… Salsa Masters!
We are all about the fresh and savory elements that mix together to create flavors that burst in your mouth. One of our favorite salsa recipes is for one that has mangos as the star of the show. You might not think that mangoes work in salsa, that is until you taste it, and then you will see why it is the bomb dot com. In fact, my 7-year-old daughter says that this is her most favorite salsa ever!
Today I am excited to share with you how to make your own mango salsa at home!
Did you catch that? You need only 7 ingredients and about 20 minutes and you too can be enjoying this delicious salsa!
Here is what you need to make it:
2 to 3 ripe mangoes (not overly ripe)
1 (6 oz) can green chiles
1 medium red onion
3 tablespoons fresh chopped cilantro
2 limes- You will half it and squeeze the halves/juice into the salsa.
1 tsp garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste
The wonderful thing about this salsa is that it can be served solo with chips, or it can be the topping for fish tacos, fajitas, salads and so much more! Whatever way you choose to eat and serve this salsa it is going to be delicious!
Here is a printable copy for you as well!
