Can you even believe that Halloween is this week?
Has it crept up on you before you have had the chance to whip together some spooky snacks? Well don’t get too “creeped” out, because today I have two great snacks that I am just “dying” to share with you that can be pulled together faster than a witch can grab her broom!
Besides being spooktacularly cute, I am happy to say that these two snacks are also incredibly easy to pull together and they taste pretty darn amazing too! Either of these snacks would be the perfect addition to a classroom party, a party you are hosting in your home or for even a great after-school snack.
To make them you need to begin with these spooky snack starters. I picked mine up at my local Walmart.
First lets talk about how to make these adorable, um I mean creepy, crawly OREO spiders! You are going to love how easy they are.
You Will Need:
1 (30 count) 2- cookie package of OREO Glow-in-the-dark
1 package dark licorice
Your favorite frosting
Googly candy eyes
To assemble your spiders carefully separate the OREO top from the cream center. Then place (4) 3 inch strips of black licorice across the creme center. You can use a little dollop of frosting to keep the legs secure in place. Reattach the top and then attach the eyes with another dollop or two of frosting.
Voila! You have created OREO spiders!
Now here’s how to make your own bubbly Fanta Orange Soda Witches Brew (complete with gummy worms)!
You Will Need:
Fanta Orange Soda
Vanilla Ice cream
Gummy worms
To assemble this delightfully witchy concoction, simply scoop the ice cream into your favorite cup or mug, add in Fanta Orange Soda and top it all off with your favorite flavor of gummy worms!
Now get ready to hear the squeals of delight from your little ghouls and goblins as you serve up your eerie creations!
