It has been ages since we have gone out as a family and flown a kite! My kiddos love doing it and here in our Southern Az desert we get a lot of windy days. So I really ought not to forget about this fun and easy activity that makes my entire family happy! I think the last time we went out and flew one we had a princess kite. The 13 year old boy really loved that. To remedy that, I am going take copious notes here on the fantastic kite tutorial Ash and Eileen are sharing with us as part of the Spectacular Summer Blog Hop!

If you were a crayon, what color would you be?
Yellow. It’s bright and sunshiney and always makes people happy. And after all, my name does mean “light.” ☺
What was your favorite TV show when growing up?
I loved Saved by the Bell. I watched every episode (more than once), and I loved every minute. Kelly and Zack were my favorites. College years was amazing – I was totally rooting for Kelly and Zack the whole time ;)
