On Monday, April 8, the sky’s most dramatic event occurs as the path of a total solar eclipse sweeps across the U.S. and the 2024 eclipse begins. For Southern AZ, the eclipse will begin around 10 am and peak at about 11 am.
Where we live isn’t in the pathway of the total eclipse, but we will be able to see a partial eclipse. And forecasts say that it should be sunny and not cloudy, so we might have a pretty good view. I have the glasses ready!
In anticipation of the eclipse, I crafted a super easy dessert that will take you only a few minutes to make. This way, no matter the weather, the visibility, or how much eclipse you can see…. you can still celebrate!
From the pictures, you can see how cute and easy these are to make, right? Plus, ain’t nobody going to be grumpy eating this cupcake, even if they can’t see the eclipse like they hoped for!
All you need to make them is dark-colored cupcake paper cups, a box of chocolate cake mix, chocolate frosting, and a dark chocolate Oreo to top.
If the eclipse isn’t your thing, these would still make a yummy dessert, snack, breakfast, dinner… or you know whatever makes you happy!
Thanks for stopping by and happy watching!
Love,
Jen
