It is that time of year where across social media we are greeted with those happy pictures of of our friends and family members as they document their Holiday celebrations. I like seeing such pictures and posts, but unfortunately, not everyone understands how the social media thing works.
So in order to save you from having your own social media and Holiday fail, here are a few tips you should keep in mind. And SHARE! Friends don’t let friends fail this badly. . .
Please Get Your Facts Straight.
I am not sure Jesus requires your cookies and if he was planning on coming to my house for a visit I believe an entirely new set of preparations would need to take place that would most definitely not include cookies.
Don’t Forget To Help Out Your Elderly Relatives.
Don’t Be Racist. Like Ever.
Not Just A Social Media Tip, But Learn To Wrap Presents. It Will Help.
Or perhaps just make an investment in gift bags. Lots and lots of them.
For The Love of All That Is Good, Use Proper Spelling. It Matters.
Choose The Pictures You Share VERY Carefully.
You might have to look at this one for a minute to find the fail. It’s there. I promise.
I am not sure who thought this next picture was a good idea, but I guess these kids are pretty excited with their Christmas presents….
Don’t Do This. People Will Call You On It.
Finally, Don’t Share Too Much Information.
This is probably a rule best remembered throughout the entirety of the year, not just for our sake, but for yours as well.
Good luck and may all your postings be merry and right (get it, right? Oh well….)
