Recently I was perusing the aisles of my neighborhood craft store and I came upon a ginormous display of chocolate candy melts. The candy melts came in pretty much every color of the rainbow. As I stood there looking at the display I started to feel a small tinge of not-quite guilt, but it was definitely something, because I am a blogger who has never written a post that involved some kind of melted, candy dipped creation. This is mostly because, I kind of feared that making melted chocolate dipped creations might surpass my abilities, but on this day I decided it was finally time I at least tried it out. If I failed, no one need ever know. The good news is though I actually created something pretty cute and tasty I think everyone can make! Seriously, people if I can do it, so can you!
I am a BIG believer in the power of sprinkles. So today I am going to share with you a recipe for something I am dubbing Unicorn Rice Krispie Treat Pops! I think you are really going to like them.
Here’s How To Make Unicorn Rice Krispie Treat Pops!
To make these, here are all of the ingredients you will need:
- A couple packages of Rice Krsipie Treats (from my neighborhood dollar store). Any size will do.
- White chocolate candy melts
- Colorful sprinkles
- White cake pop sticks
Since I bought long Rice Krispie Treat bars I cut each bar into 3 separate sections like this.
Next, take one of your cake pop sticks and insert it from the bottom into the middle of the Rice Krsipie Treat. Just make sure not to push through the top.
Next get out about 1 cup of the candy melts and melt them in a microwave safe bowl according to the directions on the bag.
Holding the stick, partially dip the Rice Krispie Treat in the melted chocolate and then immediately cover the chocolate dipped portion with sprinkles. The more sprinkles the merrier I say! Let the treat pops dry standing upright on wax paper for a few minutes and then you are all done!
The treat pops dry pretty fast and are ready to be enjoyed in just a few minutes!
Here is a printable copy for you as well.
A simply delicious and magical treat perfect for a special birthday celebration or as a way to make any day a little more magical!

I LOVE them and I love that we were blog twins. I love the idea of them on a stick. Mine were so sticky and messy! And I like your use of white chocolate without food coloring.
We should just throw a big old rainbow party together.
