This post is in partnership with Rodale Books, but all opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Recently I was going through boxes of old pictures. I use the plural boxes here because when I started out my married and family life, digital cameras really weren’t a thing. Also not available, was high speed internet. That old fashioned dial-up noise is still a thing of my nightmares.

Do you remember dial-up? Then this is for you!

Anyways, back to the boxes of pictures, there was not a single picture of me in my “grandness” as a pregnant lady. Perhaps it is best for posterity that this was not recorded. The only picture of my pregnant self I could find was this one and I was about 3 months pregnant at a signing I attended for my book.

  1. Hi Jen, I too only have one or two photos of me in all my pregnant glory. I think both were taken before heading go to the hospital. Jillian Michaels is a lady who knows her stuff, I do like her honest approach to health and fitness. This book would be fab for any soon to be Mum.

  2. I totally agree with exercising through pregnancy. I actually had just started a lifting regimen when I found out I was pregnant. I modified it, once I heard the news…but felt great through a lot of my pregnancy because I was active. I’m sure this book is packed with awesome ideas and great tips. Thank you. Happy Holidays.
