Fall is one of my most anticipated times of the year. You have Halloween, Thanksgiving and dozens of football watching parties to get me from here to there. Just think of all the delicious food opportunities! I know there are legions of tutorials out there for pulling together the perfect football watching party, but oftentimes “perfect” limits my enjoyment of the gathering, especially if I am in charge. Your normal football watching crowd doesn’t always neatly intersect with Pinterest. So today I will show you how to pull together a fun and easy football watching party in just a few minutes! I think you are going to really like what you see! And when it comes to the preparation for those delicious football watching parties, I know that I can always score at CVS.

My intended menu for this football watching party includes some sweet treats like SNICKERS®, cupcakes and as a compliment, some salty and yummy popcorn! Since I am a BIG believer in one stop shopping, I was able to grab all of my snacks, drinks and treats in one place; CVS!

For your cupcakes make sure to nab my super cute football inspired cupcake toppers! All you have to do is print and cut these printable toppers out, attach them to a toothpick and insert them into one of your cupcakes and voila, you have football ready cupcakes!

I would also suggest adding a little extra goodness to your football party with a SNICKERS® Crisper bar or two. I highly recommend going for  the two option myself.

I know right? I hope you can get your hands on one soon, oh and I wouldn’t wait for the next game to enjoy it. Feel free to eat it on the way home in the car before your kiddos can ask for bites!

  1. Ok. So you know that I don’t eat snickers and actually most traditional game day treats…BUT I have found a ton of clean eating/green living snacks/tools at CVS. I also love their digital coupons and notifications. Every time i drive up to get a prescription, I get a notification of something on sale. I do love them.

    1. I love CVS as well. In our other home we lived within walking distance of one and I loved perusing their aisles and new offerings. I also loved that they decided to stop selling cigarettes and to instead market education for helping to stop smoking. That was awesome!

  2. Love the printables! Snacks and chocolate are a must on game days on my house! (client)

  3. Hi Jen, how come you get all the tasty treats over there? Snickers Crisper sounds interesting!… We’ve recently started getting Reeses Peanut Butter Cups over here and I love them….I can’t get my head around having a football party though. The two men in the house need very little encouragement to watch as it is! I do love the idea of making the party food fun by using printable tough!

  4. Oh now you really and truly do know how to do it up right. Those stickers are amazing and I’m loving the idea of the Crispers. While football parties aren’t so big here in my part of the world, hockey parties sure are and I’m thinking I can borrow several of your ideas, thank you! So delighted to have discovered Happy Now link-up. Off to read some more of the gems.

Gosh I wish we did hockey more around here, but southern Az. is not really a booming land for hockey :) Glad you liked these ideas!

  5. “Your normal football watching crowd doesn’t always neatly intersect with Pinterest” <– This. Absolutely. I've pulled together some styled football parties, but usually the guests were giving me some side eye about it. As long as there is plenty of craft beer and traditional football food, no one really cares about styled parties for football watching.
